Initially, I was skeptic of buying a diamond ring on craigslist, but did some research and decided it was worth a shot. I met with Val and got to hold the ring and examine it, I asked Val if it was possible to just extract the diamond not the ring because I wanted a different band the guys weren't offering at the moment and he said that was possible. When I bought the diamond and got it from Val, I realized that the quality was superb but the size was on the smaller side. I called Dave after a few days and asked if I could possibly return the diamond. He worked out a plan because there was a 7 day complete refund return policy, and I got to return the diamond and get a larger, more elegant diamond from Dave. I buy online all the time, Amazon, eBay etc....But a $15,999 diamond well that was a first! But it was nice to get David on the phone as soon as I called and He answered all my question I had, and well I had A LOT of questions!!! Like about the enhanced diamonds they sell and honestly before I even called I had no idea what an enhanced diamond was. But after he explain to me that its a real diamond like any other diamond and that the enhanced part meant that it had a feather cleaned out so that more light can pass through and making it look cleaner to the naked eye! Well I did my own research after that and read some bad stuff about enhanced diamonds but honestly I couldn't find a SINGlE real person with a review saying anything bad about there enhanced diamond! Only jewelers bashing on it, with no proof, heck I couldn't even find a single picture of an enhanced diamond gone wrong! Anyways seriously David you saved me over $5k! And for that I thank you. I never heard of a “IGL Certified” diamond before! All I saw was GIA diamonds. Honestly I didn’t know there were other certificates, and THANK GOD THERE ARE!!! Seriously I read an article that if all diamonds were graded by GIA only 5-10% of all the diamonds in the world could be graded between VVS-i1. Okay so what about the other 90%!!!! Seriously messed up and now makes sense to why they sell them for so dang high! It’s like comparing all cars to Ferrari’s. Anyways that pissed me off but after emailing David about a 2ct I was interested in and getting a ($200) discount which was real nice! He updated the website on the spot and I ordered it online. I had the diamond within 4 days (it was over the weekend so it took some time) And when I got it and took it to a local jeweler and compared it to other diamonds they had, honestly I found some better then mine and some less sparkly then mine! But the biggest difference was the cost!!! I was scared to tell that jeweler how much I got it for because he’s were almost twice as much!!
